Much loved by the Mafia and subsequently the Italian Police for being the fast saloon of it’s time, here’s a very rare chance to enjoy a car that has been preserved in a private Italian collection for many years.
62,000kms/39,000 miles from new in exceptional time warp condition.
Now recommissioned, and driving beautifully we offer this car for your consideration.
The 105 Series Berlina in 1750 and later 2000 guise were produced between 1968 and 1977. The later 2000 model with the famous 1962cc in line four cylinder twin cam engine produced 130bhp giving a 0-60 time of less than 9 seconds. A very swift car in it’s day making it the car of choice for the up and coming Italian executive in 1972.
The car has clearly been well maintained during its 45 years. The engine is strong and healthy having been freshly serviced and on the road the car feels tight and smooth driving as it should for a car of such low milage.
With mostly original paint, the car presents exceptionally well. There has been some later paint which has been well done aside from some micro blistering. The car is completely corrosion free.
This particular car is a real favourite of ours, completely original down to seat covers and floor mats, it’s originality is a joy to behold with nothing to detract from the experience of driving this classic. A real drivers’ car that Alfa just got so right. Supplied with the original owners manual, service book and a host of papers from Italian registration and tax offices. Very sensibly priced.
